It’s called ‘Launchy’, and it indexes your Start Menu. You can then bring up Launchy at the press of some hot keys, and start typing the name of the program you want to run.

It also supports plugins. It can index your Internet Favourites (including Firefox), and there is also a handy little calculator plugin that you can use.

I’m going to install it on all my PCs from now on. Very handy.
